Some of my current work consists of carefully arranged compositions of leaves that decorate functional baking dishes. I go into the woods and collect real leaves, which simultaneously act as stencil and imprinter.

Strategically chosen glazes accent the contrast of the shape of the leaf against the background color, as well as the veining of the leaf. The leaf pottery reflects my life long interest in botany and provides an excellent excuse to explore wild places! It is such a pleasure to make, and I hope you'll enjoy using it.
